Over the past few decades, while Japan has faced population decline and sluggish GDP growth leading to economic stagnation, Southeast Asian countries have continued to experience population and GDP growth, and are expected to show robust growth in the future. Additionally, Southeast Asia has been transitioning from “quantity over quality” to “quality over quantity” due to recent economic growth, resulting in significant shifts in customer needs for cosmetics and health foods.
